YOM KIPPUR 2020

Yom Kippur is observed by the Great Awakening Assemblies on Sunday September 27th at 6pm-Monday September 28th 6pm.

This is a Holy Convocation in which we do no servile work and afflict our souls with fasting and prayer. We will be FASTING AND PRAYING starting September 27th at 6pm-Monday September 28th 6pm.

LEVITICUS 23:27-28 "Also on the tenth day of this seventh month there shall be a day of atonement: it shall be a holy convocation unto you, and ye shall afflict your souls, and offer an offering made by fire unto YHWH. And ye shall do no work in that same day: for it is a day of atonement, to make an atonement for you before YHWH your Elohim."

Atonement — (Called Yom Kippur today) Points to the day of the Second Coming of the Messiah when He will return to earth. That will be the day of atonement for the remnant when they “look upon Him whom they have pierced,” repent of their sins, kept the Commandments, and receive Him as their Messiah (Zechariah 12:10 and Romans 11:1-6, 25-36).

Great Awakening Assembly Detroit-East and Great Awakening Assembly Detroit-West will gather in person on Monday, September 28 from 12pm to 6pm to observe this Holy Convocation at the Considine Center 8904 Woodward Ave., Detroit, MI 48202

The Great Awakening Assemblies around the country along with their Morehs will also participate in this gathering virtually through ZOOM. The ZOOM Meeting ID: 436 916 7031. No password is needed.

This observance of Yom Kippur will be live-streamed through YouTube and Facebook outlets.
