If you have a daughter or loved one ages 14-18 yrs of age, loves TMH, TORAH, and our Hebrew culture then Miss Teen Hebrew Event might be for her.

THIS IS NOT A COMPETITION. THIS IS A MODEST EVENT TO BOOST THE MORALE, SELF WORTH, AND ESTEEM OF YOUNG DAUGHTERS OF ZION WHILE ALLOWING THEM TO SHOWCASE THEIR TALENTS!

The Great Awakening will hold a Miss Teen Hebrew Pageant under the direction of Achoti Sonya Cooke. The event will take place at the Batesville Civic Center in Batesville, MS, June 5, 2022. The Great Awakening International created a system that doesn’t focus on age, height, weight, and looks but culture and modesty, torah principled, skills, charity, and advocacy. Our goal is to restore the esteem of young Hebrew Achayot in diaspora as one of the most relevant and worthwhile pageant in our community, setting a legacy of modesty, charity, and altruism in our young girls.

Pageant Program Outline

The participants would choose a Matriarch of the Bible/TORAH to mirror

Introduction

Pageant participants introduce themselves
Share what it means to be a Hebraic woman

TORAH Passage

Each participant will give their favorite passage
Share what that passage means to them
What is TMH saying to them or what message is he giving to ISRAEL through that passage

Talent

The young ladies will display their Yah given talent i.e singing, spoken word, instrument, ect

INTERMISSION

Musical selection
Participants will change into their Festive attire

Hebraic Attire

Participants will have a fashion show in their Hebraic Attire

Showing their style, beauty, grace, and reverence/homage via their Hebraic culture and walk

They will do somewhat of a Praise dance selection which will also showcase their beautiful garments while lifting up and honoring TMH

TORAH skill (something that is cultivated, acquired, developed)

As the parent or legal guardian of the student indicated on the form, I grant permission for the Great Awakening International’s Miss Teen Hebrew to engage my child in the use of video and audio conferencing. These meetings will be conducted, supervised and managed by Sonya Cooke and the Miss Teen Hebrew Committee. My daughter has permission to participate in Miss Teen Hebrew Virtual Meetings

As the parent or guardian of the above contestant, I do hereby agree to abide by and comply with all decisions, rules, regulations, directives, instructions, policies, procedures & guidelines as set forth by the Committee, both written and verbal. I agree NOT to hold the Great Awakening or its representatives responsible for any damages or liabilities due to accident or injury during or resulting from my child’s participation in this pageant. I also affirm that the information on the official entry form is true to the best of knowledge and belief, including birth date, faith, and physical or mailing address. I understand any false or misleading information now or any time during my daughter’s participation, association with the Great Awakening shall be under full control, auspices and jurisdiction of the Great Awakening and all the decisions made by the Committee, & Judges are final. I give the Great Awakening permission to use photos taken at any prelim as advertisement for upcoming pageants.

The undersigned does hereby give permission for my child (“Participant”), to attend and participate in any Miss Teen Hebrew activities, events, retreats. LIABILITY RELEASE: In consideration of Miss Teen Hebrew allowing the Participant to participate in the pageant, I, the undersigned, do hereby release, forever discharge and agree to hold harmless Miss Teen Hebrew, its directors, employees, volunteers, coaches and teachers (collectively herein the “Great Awakening”) from any and all liability, claims or demands for accidental personal injury, sickness or death, as well as property damage and expenses, of any nature whatsoever which may be incurred by the undersigned and the Participant while involved in the activities. I the parent or legal guardian of this Participant hereby grant my permission for the Participant to participate fully in the pageant activities and child care, including trips. Furthermore, I, on behalf of my minor Participant, hereby assume all risk of accidental personal injury, sickness, death, damage and expense as a result of participation in recreation and work activities involved therein. The undersigned further hereby agrees to hold harmless and indemnify Great Awakening International for any liability sustained by the Great Awakening International as the result of the negligent, willful or intentional acts of said Participant, including expenses incurred attendant thereto.
